Christmas Gift Return Policy

We know that many of you like to start Christmas shopping early and we want to make sure that you're happy with your Christmas gift purchases. This is why are Returns policy is extended over the Christmas period so you have time to return or exchange any unwanted gifts.

If you wish to return any product you have purchased as a gift from our website between 1 November and 16 December 2011 you may do so until 16 January 2012. Goods purchased after 16 December 2011 are covered by the standard '30 Day Guarantee'.

30 Day No-Quibble Guarantee

We understand that sometimes when you order over the internet, when the goods arrive in your home they are not quite what you expected. This is why we offer a 30 Day No Quibble Guarantee. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us provided it is in the original manufacturer's packaging (including all instructions) and in unused condition. We will refund your money, including the original shipping charges, within 14 days.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

Under this returns policy you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You are also responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods, so you should ensure that all items are packaged securely and take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

This returns policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.


Damaged or Faulty Items

Should your goods arrive faulty, incorrect or damaged; we will either (at your option): exchange such goods; or refund in full the price you paid for the goods.

Under this returns policy we will reimburse your costs in returning goods to us. If the goods are to be exchanged, we will issue a refund to your payment card for postage costs. If you require a full refund a separate cheque will be issued for postage costs.

As we are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when returning goods we ask that you do not pay extra for insurance or other services, such as "Recorded Delivery". Please obtain "proof of postage", as this is all we will require should the goods be lost or damaged.


Returning Goods

All goods should be returned to: Galla Coffee, Unit 2 Warwick Road, Fairfield Industrial Estate, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 0YB; in the following manner:

  • Goods should be securely packaged and adequately sealed. If goods are being returned under the "30 Day No Quibble Guarantee" they must be in the original manufacturer's packaging and in unused condition;
  • Complete the returns section on your receipt and return the whole receipt with your goods. This will ensure you receive your refund or replacement goods promptly;
  • Please ensure that you have addressed the package clearly with the Galla Coffee address;
  • Make sure that you obtain proof of posting from the Post Office to avoid problems should the goods be lost or damaged in transit.
