Delivery Information
Goods will normally be dispatched within 1 working day from placing an order and should arrive at their delivery destination within 2-4 working days (unless stated otherwise). Most items are sent by Royal Mail. However, electrical items such as espresso machines and coffee grinders are sent by courier.
We only accept orders for delivery to destinations in the UK.
If there is a delay in dispatching your order (or any part of it) you will be notified via e-mail within 1 working day from placing the order.
When your order is dispatched you will be sent an e-mail. This e-mail will contain a more precise schedule of when your order should be delivered. If your order has not arrived after this delivery window has passed, please contact us at: orders@gallacoffee.co.uk, or call on 01507 607540. However, we recommend that you contact your local Royal Mail "Delivery Office" first, as they may be holding the parcel for you.
Shipping
To make charges as fair as possible, shipping is based on the total weight of the items in your shopping basket. All orders over the value of £35 are shipped for FREE.

Small items such as filter papers and some spare parts are shipped at a cheaper rate when purchased alone. The charge ranges from £0.85 to £2.35, depending on the weight and size of the item.
We appreciate that this scale of charges can be a little confusing and this is why we provide a delivery price for each item on that product's page; found under the 'Delivery & Returns' tab. This charge is based on ordering one of that product and no other items. The actual shipping charge is calculated on checkout. If you were to order multiple items, the shipping charge will be less than ordering the items individually.
For example: If you were to order a ‘La Cafetiere Classic Cafetiere - 3 Cup’, the estimated delivery charge is £2.65. If you then decide to add a ‘La Cafetiere Replacement Gauze Filter – 3 Cup’, with an estimated delivery charge of £0.85, the actual delivery charge would be £2.65, not £3.50, as the combined weight of the two items is still less than 1kg.
