This version of the popular Handpresso Wild portable espresso machine uses ground coffee instead of ESE pods, so you have a much wider selection of coffees to choose from. Now you can use your favourite espresso blend, ground just the way you like it, wherever you go.

The Handpresso Domepod is the World's smallest espresso machine, being shorter in length than a wooden spoon (and not much wider). It is also probably the World's cheapest (authentic) espresso machine, generating 16 bar of pressure to extract the full flavour from the coffee. What's more, the Handpresso does not use electricity, so it's completely portable. Now it's possible to have an espresso anywhere you fancy: at work, on holiday, in the mountains or out at sea.

The Domepod works using one of nature's most renewable sources of energy; the human muscle. By means of a hand-pump (similar in design to a bicycle pump) the user builds up pressure ready to release upon the coffee. They then simply add hot water and ground coffee before starting to brew.

Cleaning is easy with the Domepod too. Once used, the spent coffee puck can simply be popped out the special pod and dispose of. There's no need for a knock out box or any specialist detergent.

All in all, the Handpresso Domepod is an excellent innovation. It's small, lightweight and simple to use; and allows you to have an espresso whenever and wherever you fancy.

Domepod - Ground Coffee

This version of the Handpresso Wild works with ground coffee. This gives you a much wider range of coffee to choose from than the ESE version.

The Domepod comes with two small pods, know as domepods (hence the name), which you fill with ground coffee. Once a domepod has been used the spent coffee puck can be easily popped out. After a quick rinse under the tap, the domepod is ready to be used again.

Use in the Home

If you would like to brew genuine espresso but cannot afford to spend £100s on an espresso machine, then the Handpresso Domepod is an excellent alternative. The Domepod is probably the cheapest espresso machine on the market and unlike a stove-top espresso maker the Domepod generates 16 bar of pressure so the resulting brew is authentic espresso. It's also a brilliant option for those with limited space in the kitchen. When it's not in use, it can be stored in your cutlery draw, so it's not taking up valuable countertop space.
