Bottomless portafilter suitable for Gaggia espresso machines. Comes complete with a double filter basket.
Bottomless or naked portafilters not only look cool but they're also a great learning tool too. As they have no bottom you can watch the espresso flow from the basket down into the cup. Watching this can help diagnose problems with your espresso making technique, such as: uneven distribution of coffee grounds in the basket or tamping.
Bottomless portafilters also have the advantage of being able to hold larger baskets (such as a triple) and as there are no spouts, there's more space underneath the portafilter to fit taller cups.
