Like Ascaso's commercial models, the I-Mini is fitted with a conical burr. Conical burr grinders have the advantage over other types of grinders as they operate at slower speeds, and therefore transfer less heat to the coffee when grinding. This is important as heat damages the flavour of your coffee.
